Any news on the tv signal, as a friend of ours who visits Malaga has said that all the uk tv is off in that area?
According to the press the east European criminals are selling perfume, inviting you to smell from the bottle. The smelling of the perfume disorientates you or in some cases knocks you out. You are then robbed. So if anyone asks you to smell this, refuse and report it to the police

Not exactly hacked, as anybody can post here. There are filters that try to catch Spam, but these got through.

Sorry to hear apicoco has closed, sunday dinner at Brambles Bar is very good indeed, plus their homemade cakes and desserts.
Thanks for the recommendation re Brambles ,, we can recommend Jullietta's next to Apicoco too , actually David from Apicoco was chef there when we were over back in June ,nice menu .
John has kindly gone to the house and wiped the lens, but it doesn't seem to have made much difference.
So it looks like the combination of rain and high winds has got in to the camera housing. Hopefully it will carry on working, if a bit fuzzy.
It looks like it will need replacing. So I am starting work on a completely new system, that will replace the current camera next Spring.
I've been watching the cam view the last 3 days, and that wiping seems to have cleared most of the problem, with no more condensation (?) effects. Possibly the lower temperatures being more consistent are helping.
It also seems to me that the focus has altered slightly, giving a tighter focus on the lamppost, and consequent more blurring on the distant stuff
It still looks good !!!
The weather (storms etc) the last couple of days seem to have made it worse - I guess the new system is what is needed
